When things go wrong as they sometimes will, When the road you're trudging seems all up hill, When the funds are low and the debts are high, And you want to smile, but you have to sigh, When care is pressing you down a bit, Rest if you must, but don't you quit. Life is queer with its twists and turns, As every one of us sometimes learns, And many a failure turns about, When he might have won had he stuck it out. Don't give up though the pace seems slow--You may succeed with another blow, Success is failure turned inside out--The silver tint of the clouds of doubt, And you never can tell how close you are, It may be near when it seems so far; So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit--It's when things seem worst that you must not quit.

In this life struggle, here I am among you fully cognizant that a true believer has no fear of what God has ordained for him. Those who are visited by fear live only for their present, under the illusion that the world began with them and will end with their departure.

Sooner or later we all discover that the important moments in life are not the advertised ones, not the birthdays, the graduations, the weddings, not the great goals achieved. The real milestones are less prepossessing. They come to the door of memory unannounced, stray dogs that amble in, sniff around a bit and simply never leave. Our lives are measured by these

No life can be compared to another Life unless both refer to Death! Even if a Life is different from another Life, it exists, as Life, only by referring to Death, because all other Lives it would refer to finally lead to the last referent which is a Life having as reference: Death! This is why I said the all the shine of Life consists of Death, as the shine of Death consists of Life.

Suppose that we are wise enough to learn and know -- and yet not wise enough to control our learning and knowledge, so that we use it to destroy ourselves? Even if that is so, knowledge remains better than ignorance. It is better to know -- even if the knowledge endures only for the moment that comes before destruction -- than to gain eternal life at the price of a dull and swinish lack of comprehension of a universe that swirls unseen before us in all its wonder. That was the choice of Achilles, and it is mine, too.

There is a form of laughter that springs from the heart, heard every day in the merry voice of childhood, the expression of a laughter -- loving spirit that defies analysis by the philosopher, which has nothing rigid or mechanical in it, and totally without social significance. Bubbling spontaneously from the heart of child or man. Without egotism and full of feeling, laughter is the music of life.

The best that can be said of my life so far is that it has been industrious, and the best that can be said of me is that I have not pretended to what I was not.

From reading all your post and knowing you personally, you are real and have no fake-up attribute about you.

You are a loving, trustworthy, honest person who is very caring about others, especially your Grandmother.

Life should net be compared, and yes death is the one constance about life that is an actual fact of life.

Wise Enough to Learn and Know - There is no guarantee that any of us will every be wise enough no to make some or even many mistakes in life. I would just add that if we following the teachings of The Bible, and place and keep God in our life, the outcome nine times out of ten will be most positive.

..yha thats true by following the bible also and there's something magical about putting yourself into life. You've got to stand up and take responsibility for your own life and you cannot abandon that.

enjoyed reading all your post, and just want to ad that life is really a series of paths that we have many options of choosing, and depending on which of those paths we take, may be the common denominator that sets up the foundation for the rest of our life.

so to be happy, or not as we go through life, will depend on such factors as how we was or was not raised, how well we learn from mistakes, and how well we respect life and all that God has given us to include God's Love.

Life can be so very wonderful. Just keep wise and think before always acting out a new adventure. Be creative, knowledgeable, energetic, and responsive to new ideas that come your way.

Must of all, have fun while living your life as we appear to only get one chance, so lets just do it....
